My issue was with the `zip()` usage. For lists I know that it will stop short once one of the lists has run out of items, but I haven't seen it used this way to combine optional values. I'm assuming it only produces a result if al

Yea the latter code is unreadable to me and feels obfuscated, like the author is trying to force functional programming where it doesn't belong.

Where do you see they only ported four screens? In the dashboard screenshot it clearly shows "RN Screen Count: 139/572", so they've ported 139 screens, right? The "four" figure you're referring to is the r

I'll offer an opposing viewpoint that the show was totally watchable and not "brutal" for me. Some of the acting/story was a bit over the top, but overall still a pretty good show and interesting idea. I've read Neu

I'm not a project management expert, but isn't this basically why Agile was created so that incremental/iterative progress can be more easily delivered? Like hearing this part is insane to me: > I was hired on as an indivi

Yea this clearly seems like a bug or some repo skewing the results. Also a good reminder why the median should often be shown alongside average values.

How is this considered legal? I get the cat and mouse chase between devs and the reverse engineering communities, but this seems to cross the line into physical destruction of property, at least at face value.

I'm curious why people continue to write off Reddit when Twitter has been fairly successful. Reddit's recent funding round puts them at a 10 billion valuation vs Twitter's ~50 billion market cap. Yes, Reddit has been slowly g

Someone already mentioned there's a `decimal` package in Python that's better suited for currency. Back when I was a Java developer we used this: https://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java&#

As an iOS dev the hardest part for me to learn has definitely been how all the parts of the build chain work together: linking, symbolication, etc. Swift tries to be high-level but Xcode still relies on a bunch of low-level tools to build t
