While wind and solar will help, nuclear is really the dominant part of the solution, because of it's ability to work independent of local weather.

That's a small part of their sins. The big part is relying on gas for heating. When speaking with germans I've found that they think of gas as "clean" which sounds insane to me. Yeah, maybe locally, compared to coal, but

The previous anti-nuclear social-democratic government together with the demonstrably insane "green" party installed a board in the state owned power company Vattenfall that after a while managed to sort of claim that it wasn'

The new coalition government has pledged $40B (approximately the market cap of Twitter, heh) in loan guarantees for nuclear power construction. They have also pledged to create legal guarantees that future politicians will not be able to sh

One: HBO Max, they had this deal of "half price for life" when they launched here (so about $5/month.) It's sort of barely worth it. They do have a nice 90s archive.

I'm not sure that would have helped - it seems they just got really bad at managing the creation of appealing content.

I was a Netflix subscriber for its first streaming service decade or so [in Scandinavia], starting in 2011. Cancelled about a year ago. The primary concern was the the quality of new content, not the price.

Somehow, you can still downscale a scanned Kodachrome photo and it's still considered a Kodachrome photo. It's about color/LUT, not pixels.

Unusually good article. High information density. Lots of relevant hyperlinks. Includes technical details and they are actually correct.

A reasonable start would be screen grabs of both blue and green bubbles, grabbed from the same phone in the same way. (And vertical placement; see the other comment.)

A comparison between blue and green bubbles on your phone would be more relevant. Color space handling makes direct comparisons between screen grabs (from different devices) tricky.

Something similar happened in Sweden around the same time. A supposedly super rich Chinese man duped a naive county super hard. It was just a very elaborate scheme to sell EU/Schengen visas to Chinese people.
