Based on the title I was expecting a tribute, thanking Firebug for paving the way, so to speak, for the modern DevTools. But this is even better! I know a lot of people preferred Firebug, so hopefully the marriage of it and DevTools will me

Yep, I feel the opposite way! Tarkin felt very uncanny valley to me at first, but due to him appearing several more times, that feeling died off and it felt normal that someone 22 years dead was in this movie. Leia, however, only had that b

Hoping this is just a one time issue, but in the first tutorial: >const keys = document.querySelectorAll('.key'); is provided, but it will trigger an error in the console. As far as the video is concerned this is part of the fi

It doesn't help that the CEO admitted to editing Trump supporter comments. I mean I couldn't care less about those people, but that is censorship and suppression and I can't blame people for viewing anything reddit does fro

Pretty much. Plus you can call rooms an office if they don't qualify as a bedroom (I believe they need to have a window to be called a BR). Also, I would think an extra bedroom sells better than calling it an office.

Is it if you don't work exclusively from home? I work from home a few days a week and have a dedicated office for it.

I'm devastated. I remember being so excited when the first kickstarter happened, but I was broke and couldn't buy one. Then finally after years of waiting and following them with interest, my wife bought me a Pebble Time for our a

I'm incredibly sick of seeing this argument. Just because someone uses a piece of open source software does not mean that they A) Are obligated to contribute to it B) Are disallowed to want features or complain about the lack thereof f

Not sure. I only let it expire once, but I just assumed it wouldn't work and uninstalled and went back to SublimeText (and obviously I came running back!)

For me I actually avoid music I know/like and just go for straight up instrumental (usually piano or acoustic guitar playlists on Spotify). If it's music I know I'll get distracted by trying to find a song I like more than wh

I think that's just what they tell system admins when it's time to put a machine down. "Oh yes, it's in a very quiet, peaceful place where it can process things all day long securely."

It left me kicking myself for not buying PHPStorm sooner so I could've gotten in on the perpetual license pricing. But oh well! It paid for itself pretty quickly, so I can't complain!

I just want to meet the consumer who looked at the old MBP and thought, "wow this is far too thick!". And the same goes for cell phones. Thinner is better, but only to a certain point and certainly not at the expense of battery li

I'm not a fan of subscription-based models for software, but PHPStorm is good enough for me to ignore that. Plus it gets cheaper yearly for the first 3 years.

There are mods for the game that let you easily import height maps. I want to say it's done from Open Street Map, but it's been a while since I've tried it out.

At this point Vine isn't really all that unique anymore. Facebook, instagram, snapchat and twitter all do what it did. I'm not very surprised by this at all.
