Pretty shitty dig. You’d better get started on creating that universe if you ever want to claim credit for anything.

More important would be to preserve a very thorough and accurate recording of everything we’ve done so any future civilization could analyze it and determine what we did wrong and how to avoid it. More importantly though we should be workin

That map and this one https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Distribution-of-coal-dep... seem to show a lot of centrally located deposits along with several near the coast. Most coal deposits in England are in the north s

The question then should be why did they not switch to coal after wood became scarce. England was also rapidly running out of wood to use as fuel before they adopted coal as a source of heat.

If we’re going to eliminate cows because they produce methane then why not eliminate all other biological sources of methane?

You’re assuming the current owners of the land are also going to disappear? If not then why wouldn’t they use the land for other productive purposes. If it’s currently farm land then they would simply change crops. Or maybe they would sell

It’s still energy. The difference in power output between a horse and an engine is quite large. You also need cheap energy in order to automate anything. Energy derived from people and horses is expensive.

Bingo. When trees are abundant charcoal is the superior fuel. It’s much cleaner to burn than coal, weighs less and doesn’t require you to mine it out of the ground which is difficult and dangerous. I’d argue the difficulty of mining and bur

I thought it all happened because of coal mining. Lumber was getting scarce and expensive in Britain so people started burning coal even though they didn’t have very good coal stoves at first. Demand for coal opened more coal mines. Mines n

Depends on the room. A glut of empty and affordable homes would also signal a downturn in the housing market which would probably upset some people.

Why do they say “sound like white Americans” when there is a large variation in accent among Americans of any skin colour? Compare a New York accent to Tennessee or Texas or California or Minnesota and all the other places.

Sounds a lot like high volume training like 8x8s or 10x10s where you use much lighter weight and leave a lot of reps on the table but do twice as many or more sets. For anyone interested, the simplest form of that is to use 60% of your one

An absurd statement. If you put someone on a calorie deficit they will lose weight, period. If I work you 12 hours a day at a gruelling physical job and don’t increase the amount you eat then you will lose weight, end of story. All this faf
