I haven’t seen the video, but I assume what it’s getting at is that if you have like a simple 5 over 4 polyrhythm and you speed it up sufficiently you’ll start to perceive it as a major third. I kind of also think that’s a little meaningles

I think they framed it accurately and you are instead over complicating. Language for scripts is a decision that virtually every team ends up making regardless. The other questions are basically all irrelevant since the scripts and actions

But I see it discussed in left leaning media all the time. Topics like male suicide rates, loneliness, and social pressure against showing emotion come up over and over again.

This just doesn’t line up with my experience whatsoever. For my friends on the left it’s a common topic, and I see it discussed in left leaning publications all the time. I wonder when I see these characterizations of the left if they are c

And what I am saying is that they absolutely are not designed to do different things any more. That used to be the case, but Unreal has fully eaten Unity’s lunch here in a technical sense. The engine’s roots are in AAA first person, but the

They really don’t at this point. Unreal has reached a point where it’s a better choice than Unity for nearly every single project. There’s still these pervasive beliefs that Unity is better for 2D or better for small teams, and it just isn’

I think all of those issues you listed were absolutely present in the Morrowind/Oblivion period. Really I don’t think it’s that Bethesda is a shadow of its former self. I think it’s that Bethesda still is its former self. The industry

Sources suggest 3-4000 steps on average for Americans, so an extra 1800 is actually a pretty big deal. 40 minutes of walking is no small thing for many.

I actually don’t think that’s what the author is arguing. They are arguing that certain metrics that are valuable to measure at a team level become less useful or even misleading if you zoom in too far to an individual level. Story points b

Presence of citations has near zero meaning in terms of goals of the writing or bias. These are so clearly opinion pieces. One is bordering on an attack piece.

I would have to disagree with the characterization of two opinion blog posts from relatively unknown authors as “unbiased sources.”

It is very safe, but that doesn’t mean the risk is zero. The fact that stories like that have become major news stories kind of illustrates how unusual it is these days.

Honestly Lyme disease is blown way out of proportion. It’s not all that hard to check for ticks to avoid it, and the course of the disease with treatment really just isn’t particularly serious for most who get it. There’s even growing skept
