I have experienced this same issue many times. But from my experience, I cannot simply pinpoint it to young developers or their education. I have seen this behavior with several older people, university educated, with many years of professi

I recently found this subreddit which is kind of related: https://www.reddit.com/r/antiwork/ I'm not identifying with it very much, but it's interesting.

Interesting... My to-go solution for this would be a detailed wiki page with screenshots, and link to that from a bunch of places. But I guess that's not an ideal solution really.

After many years of Mac OS X, Apple released macOS 11. So naturally, Microsoft has to follow.

You're right that you still cannot do arbitrary media queries there. But from my experience (I'm not a designer though), staying within a set of predefined breakpoints (xs, sm, md, lg, xl) is often enough for most web pages. The s

For me, it was the opposite with Stack Overflow. I use the Consolas font literally everywhere throughout my Windows machine. It's the default and most common monospace font on Windows, and I'm used to reading code like that. Yet S

Apple still supports the older iPhones. For example, the iPhone 6 that doesn't get the latest iOS version anymore (stuck with iOS 12) is still supported by regular security updates (the last iOS 12 update was 54 days ago). Apple suppor

I'm wondering about the same thing. To me, Reddit feels more like it emphasizes communities. While Twitter is more about the cult of personality, and not too centered around community. Also, on Twitter it's much easier to get to a

If someone is rehosting code that they don't have copyright to, it's like if someone would upload a pirated movie to YouTube. YouTube will still make money from it for some time (selling ads, luring customers in, ...), then the co

This is interesting. But I think you'd violate Disney's copyright by uploading their pictures to the website. To make it work, Disney would have to upload the pictures themselves and agree to the TOS.
