You can escape it by becoming a better software engineer. Up to the limit of your IQ, which is the real bias that everyone sweeps under the rug, especially all the bigtech companies espousing “inclusivity” (all lies, actually exclusivity,

If he said it himself, then it’s not an unconscious bias, is it? The point of interviewing is bias in the first place - to find people who are good - and it’s not unreasonable to assume that “I want to be good” and “this potential hir

Airflow can only do so much. If the whole atmosphere is hot day and night, there's literally no way to cool down without using extra energy.

Maybe you should implement a "feature" that serves a simple static HTML page
This webpage is safe.
to "bingbot" and serve the real page to everyone else.

I meant "almost all the time except when they're asleep". Fortunately newborns sleep a lot but they also feed every 4 hours (if you're lucky) so whatever sleep you're getting isn't "quality sleep" bec

At first, kids need basically 100% attention & surveillance, except when they’re asleep. So between two people, one is occupied with a kids almost all the time.

This is a common fallacy. The US is the oldest and most stable democracy. It also works more-or-less as intended. On issues where there is broad consensus (e.g. COVID relief) it can move incredibly quickly. On issues where there is broad di

No that’s not how physics works. If you keep pumping a constant amount of CH4 into the atmosphere, it keeps degrading into CO2, which is transformed into grass, which is transformed into cows. It’s a cycle. There is no long-term impact.

Not long term they don’t. CH4 breaks down into CO2 in a few decades, forming a natural cycle. The only long-term climate impact is from additional CO2 from fossil fuels.

CH4 has a half life of like 10 years or so, so even if you deleted all cows from the world right now, in 20-40 years you'd be back to "only fossil fuel CO2 causing climate change". Furthermore, has CH4 from cows even increase

I don't understand. All meat is made from recycled carbon dioxide (plants, e.g. corn & grass, take CO2 out of the atmosphere and "recycle" it, that's then fed to animals to grow meat). As I always like to says, cow
