You might find this page from the Reason website useful: https://facebook.github.io/reason/mlCompared.html It replaces a lot of the idiosyncratic bits of OCaml's syntax with things that feel more appropriate if yo

Your association isn't really accurate. 1Password's storage model is basically the same as KeePass, your passwords are stored in encrypted blobs that are not decryptable without your master password, which is never sent over the

It's very nice, particularly if you live in the Apple ecosystem where KeePass clients are complete crap. I avoid the 1Password.com cloud hosting stuff because it slightly expands the threat model in exchange for web access to my passwo

This was true for a while, but vim 8 (and some of the last patches of vim 7) added async tasks, channels and built-in JSON encoding/decoding. It's a hassle to have to support two different interfaces, but I suspect most plugin au

It was possible a long time ago (pre-VS 2003) to embed a real copy of gvim as an OLE widget inside Visual Studio. I'm looking forward to being able to do that in a less hacky way via neovim.

I use/have used neovim-dot-app, it's pretty nice. It's not quite as polished as MacVim, mostly little things like not having dock menu entries for creating/switching windows. I had to compile from HEAD fairly regularly

If you want to board a train, you don't try to jump in through an open window while it's moving at full speed. Emacs and vim are very fast trains with very slow acceleration. You're going to spend days, possibly weeks, stru

That's a fundamental problem with leaks like this, particularly from brazenly partisan sources. There's no realistic way to verify that the hacker did not fabricate documents to insert before they released the "leak".
