Knowing physics and C++ would open a lot of opportunities, as it is a pretty important pairing. Only move away if you are bored of being very good at both together and separately.

It seems that what is left of GPL software there is either things that they've changed beyond recognition since taking on (webkit) or absolutely basic parts like gcc. Bit of a shame the larger pieces, all the way up to Darwin have nearly di

Surely people should be writing (they already briefly were before Siri was known) about Google's attempt at this, including email and os on. Google is far more likely to grab from every source it has, including email, in the background. I'd

I don't think logic (including syntax and grammar) will get outdated, I'm not trying hard but the maths and logic from the Greeks has lasted longer than their theories on matter, gods and treatment. The trends will be slow enough for even t

It depends how critical it is to you. Very few people I know use it more than face to face, or msn/gmail/other digital contact to keep up with people. It's not really an invasion of privacy if your information is shared to your friends base

The only time I saw Jobs laugh other than something scripted at WWDC, was when he was talking with Gates (things like "Bill taught the world the important of ctrl, alt and del").

If they want to force you to quickly learn and only use a language which doesn't seem logical to you (by that I mean C-style or recognizable in a similar way), then it may not be a nice job to have.

Voice UI lets you keep your phone in your pocket? Buy some jeans, yours must have so many holes in it. The only fashion thing that will come out of this is a 'cool' way to talk to the phone without the speaker to your ear.

Look into a home server, you can just buy a second hand laptop and leave it always on next to the router. You can get student debit cards from a young age, it varies a lot but can be as low as 14 apparently, which should work with Paypal. I
