If I owned a private jet, I would assume it is broadcasted, because it has to be, legally. Nothing you can do. Anyone can find it, so what’s the difference if a Twitter account links it? Obviously it’s a different story if someone would i

I go straight to comments normally and if those are insightful and interesting i upvote the story. Hardly ever read the article; unintended usually but the article said enough.

Ah yes, that's what I was trying to say. I was the worst sceptic of AI; I never did anything with AI with it after getting my masters. I just went for money, programming and managing programming. For me [1] this is the most mindbog

Agreed, but as a professor I believe one needs to be looking in the future. It was not that far out, but yeah it was an AI winter. We were stuck until 2012 basically. That's a long time.

When I was a first year AI student beginning of the 90s I asked my professor what would happen if we just made a massive neural network and trained it with all information in the world. He said it cannot happen as it it impossible.

Where I live in the EU, people get old; 100 here is not so rare and there are many 90+. Most of them are healthy; walking the mountain for shopping daily and going to the bar for a shot or two in the morning. 0 of them want to live longer.

That's excellent to hear! I did not know (my lack of research in that regard obviously) that Dart was used that much outside Flutter! I really like Flutter and see them as married, but I'm obviously wrong. Thanks for the explanati

Mobile + Desktop. But these are LoB apps. I just like it better than React(Native). The results are really robust and easy to debug if something wrong. Also when I do an update, unlike React, not suddenly everything is broken.

Web development is not really going well (imho), but desktop I find good enough to at least prototype with. Wether I can make my mind up if I like Dart or not, Flutter really feels right to me.

Frame.work? I rather have an ARM processor for the battery life but outside that it's a decent. Just the Linux support is lagging. Wish people would focus on support that type of far more open and repairable hardware instead of closed.
