For some things it confidently gets completely wrong, you can correct it slightly and put 5-6 other prompts to arrive at a correct answer. This is not easy to automate though.

I was playing around [0] with gpt and and most of what I started is by chatgpt, however with many fixes. The code it generated looked mostly ok, however it needed many fixes as it was off a lot, especially on api use, promises etc. Because

My handwriting, because of a life of typing (this year is my 40th year of 10 finger touch typing; I was 8 when I got my certificate, so I basically skipped writing), is horrible and only I can read it. The iPad cannot, at all.

It also really doesn’t matter if he knows anything technically; what the intern described is not very strange/different than I have seen in tons of companies; they are nowhere near as successful as Tesla/spacex or PayPal of course

This is not really abnormal for many large companies or government. The c-level peeps are doing ‘stuff’ and the job of layers of management below them is to manage/manipulate them into doing ‘other stuff’. Nothing so weird about it. It

What I find weird is that humans do the same and no one mentions that; I have 2 professional (they have lived of it for decades) artist friends; one makes Giger art (paintbrush, exactly the same style but no copies, original but if you see

I just finish the registration process as normal but email the email that someone is trying to sign up again and if it is them. The user who signs up won’t notice anything.

I record meetings (phone and irl), put them through a transcribe service, save the text in Joplin and fix it up/annotate/clean it up it a bit and then throw the recording away.

I like webscraping and made a lot of money making farms 15 or so years ago; I started disliking it somehow when Python kind of took over. What are you using? I am also interested in doing it as cheap as I can which is a lot of fun for tech

That seems more a US thing though because of how things are laid out? I picked my multiple places of living (EU) to have everything walking distance and I managed that for the past 30 years with wfh, city or not. We don't touch the car
