And Hetch Hetchy is here: https://waterdata.usgs.gov/monitoring-location/11275500/#par... I'm assuming this dam is separate either because it is in a National Park and controlled by San Francisco.

Or both. It’s disappointing the movie was shunned the way it was. And it is disappointing NR writes such breathless headlines.

The headline of a story about moral indignation is full of moral indignation.

Two things can be true. The story is terrible and the publisher of the story is a part of the problem too.

Terrible story. This should not have happened to this film. I do not know what has happened to a country which has free speech and press enshrined in it's constitution. It is also sad that the National Review which paints itself as thi

How many $B has Microsoft made off of Excel formulas and keyboard shortcuts? Not to say they aren't delivering value, but I work in a place where many people have only used Google Sheets their whole career. They can't imagine runn

Mcmaster.com is also insanely fast. The reaction to every click is so incredibly responsive. There is something so pleasing about it.

Totally agree. I think the premise of maintaining quality of life while dramatically reducing energy consumption won't bear out. There is no successful path to stopping global warming that dramatically drives up energy cost or reduces

I love net metering, but long term it isn’t an entirely fair system. I imagine once they move off of that they’ll be able to have better incentives for those on solar with batteries.

Where are the CA blackouts?

Safe to assume you’re getting net meetering? That is likely more valuable.

It increases the autonomy. They get to go out and make decisions. And if I need to track them down because they are late for dinner it’s easy. We don’t use it for any draconian purposes.

We gave one to our 10 year old and earlier to our son when he was 12. It’s great for giving them the freedom to go to friends houses or do an activity for school, but also to find them if they’re running late or they weren’t where they were

Sad to see "services" as a headline on Apple's earnings beat. I'm sure it is gratifying for Tim Cook, but this is going to be the thing that brings on much harder regulation for Apple.

Opening credit to a network not affiliated with Visa or MC would be a huge change. It is hard to believe this would pass into law, but perhaps it is an opening salvo in a negotiation with Visa and MC.

The US isn't going to copy and paste any foreign laws and codify them as US law. So it is likely the EU and US will have to forge a different path or the EU can ban everything.

I sort of love the idea of closing this very minor plot hole around Will's birthday. It definitely takes advantage of streaming and seems like a great use for the super deep fan base. On the other hand, what Lucas did to Star Wars sort

It would be helpful to see the median price and how that has grown as well. When we got our Subaru repaired recently the dealer said he had 20-30 new Subarus on the lot and normally it is closer to 200.
