Terrible story. This should not have happened to this film. I do not know what has happened to a country which has free speech and press enshrined in it's constitution.
It is also sad that the National Review which paints itself as this bastion of objectivity publishes such breathless headlines.
- happyopossum 4y agoWait a sec - so the story is terrible, but the headline shouldn’t point that out?
- tims33 4y agoTwo things can be true. The story is terrible and the publisher of the story is a part of the problem too.
- happyopossum 4y agoHow is the publisher part of the problem by pointing out a shameful injustice?
- tims33 4y agoThe headline of a story about moral indignation is full of moral indignation.
- jdminhbg 4y agoI don’t think NR has ever positioned itself as objective, it’s an explicitly conservative magazine and always has been.
- happyopossum 4y agoYeah - GP appears to just want to dunk on the NR I stead of comment about the story.
- tims33 4y agoOr both. It’s disappointing the movie was shunned the way it was. And it is disappointing NR writes such breathless headlines.
