I think the key thing people are forgetting is the V in MVP. It has to be viable. I keep seeing people building minimal products, but nothing that's viable. It's also a factor of people spreading themselves too thin. You don't have to do a

They have that single, robust API in the form of the Graph API. It does everything the old APIs did and more, but it's all in one place now. http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/

This is a case of copy getting too campy. It's ok to mix in some humor here or there, especially if it fits your target market. But given that this is a product focused on a professional market (CRM), this is an example of taking it outside

MySQL locking behavior depends on the table engine/type you use. The old MyISAM format is table-level locking. InnoDB is row-level and supports all the "big boy" RDBMS features you'd expect to be there (like foreign keys...). Also ideal is

I would think for security reasons, they would not do that. It would be really bad if someone hacked your thermostat to run up your power bill or try to make your home temporarily uninhabitable.

You should be using APC. It has all the shared memory functions you need and a lot more momentum than eA ever had. Facebook was even hacking on it for a while before HipHop was developed. It's a much better product overall.

Isn't Blackboard known for being a very litigious company? I wonder if that's come to be an issue for Coursekit yet or not. I've talked with at least two folks that wanted to start up something in this space, but had fears about lawsuits fr

They can easily merge those changes. You just have to use the git command line. It's possible to merge in a separate repo. Like so: git remote add d3mac https://github.com/fabiensanglard/Doom3-for-MacOSX-.git git fetch d3mac git mer

Serious question: Why would you want to highlight or annotate a small sample of a book?

If a piece of software is looking for other mountable partitions, mounting them, and reading data off of them, I would think that would be looked at as incredibly suspicious.

Just a quick little note: They've stopped production on the Roadster, so you won't be able to pick one up so easily. You'll probably be looking at a Model S with availability in 2013.
