The dispatchers I observe use it focused on their primary screens and if something highlighted they saw out of the corner of their eye.

The software doesn't highlight calls it highlights messages with keywords. This was asked for by a dispatcher who said during emergencies it's hard to spot the important messages. This particular dispatcher's job was to monit
