Yeah that is suspicious. Especially this one: "Amazed at what I learned from a 45 min video." By "raybeorn 18 minutes ago" Maybe he watched it before the post.

You seem knowledgeable so I figure I'd reply here since I keep getting mixed messages on this point: Is it easy to commit your Unity code in a VCS and have teammates work on it with you simultaneously? Some people say yes, some say n

This is great. I never understood why underscore/lo-dash doesn't have a `conj` or a `concat`. JavaScript's `push` mutates data which you'd think you'd want to avoid if you're using a functional library like un

1. I think you complicated your point by having the Agnostic write some code without any context as to why it exists and confusing 3 other developers. 2. I think you complicated your point by having the other programmers rewrite it incorrec

Sorry, it's difficult to take that wikipedia article and make a soundbite out of it. Elsewhere in the source you'll see this: > Placing blame on workforces who are only responsible for 15% of mistakes where the system designed

That's a fair question and I don't understand it myself. Perhaps it's because the Firefox/Chrome dev tools are so useful. Perhaps its because I understand what the errors are trying to tell me. In JS I usually have a

As a programmer who's getting annoyed and tired of Java's boilerplate, I welcome this. I went from Haskell to Clojure to JavaScript. I loved Haskell the language . What I don't is third party libraries are usually direct

I'd say more than a bit. When you have multiple namespaces in your xml it can become so verbose that it's hard to see the signal through the noise. But then, maybe there's a way to reduce that noise in a way that I don'

But if you rarely pay down technical debt you'll go slower. So maybe "Speed Wins" means they do pay down technical debt. Just playing the devil's advocate.

I'd like one of these beginner tutorials to have a chapter named, "learning cabal and using a library". That was a pain point for me (especially developing on windows). Well, not so much a pain point as a mortal wound.
