This seems really interesting. I was a part of several funded companies and the push for non-sustainable growth frequently contributed to a culture of lies, egos and unrealistic expectations. I'm working for a non-profit right now that

Eh - I find this public over-scrutiny of a company just because it's a nonprofit to be a little offputing. Sure, you want to know your donations aren't being wasted, but I keep in mind that most non-profits where my friends work h

They have around 300 FTEs. It might sound high, but they are the 5th most visited website in the world. Of others in the top 10, I think Reddit is the only other company with under 1,000 employees (at around 250). In comparison, Taobao whic

MDMA was originally patented 1912/1914 by Merck, but wasn't really applied for human usage until Dr Shulgin was working with it over 50 years later.

One of the biggest issues that I see is where the cars pull over to pick up / drop off people. They almost always just stop in the middle of streets, double parking. Rarely do they pull over into an empty spot that's safer for the

This is pretty great. For my larger LED projects (3000+ lights) I'm slowly moving over to something like TouchDesigner for animations and mapping, but for medium and smaller projects this is fantastic. Will be buying some!

If I recall, there was one set of Python-related conferences that rotated every other year in/out of the US for this reason. While some people would go anywhere, a lot of people really didn't want to go to the US.
