Yeah I think the test was to show that the quote was not bs and the vendor thought about how they work might get performed as opposed to giving a bs number. If he vendor has to hand squeeze it might be 10$ if they have a machine its 5$ but

Spending is what you do in an inflationary environment. There are 2 reasons for that: 1 all the basics cost more 2 any savings will get depreciated quickly though inflation so your ability to save is limited

I mean it’s not that hard to rent a couple juicing machines and make 700 cups of oj. Maybe a bit expensive because you have to source them in a large radius but not crazy expensive. If it has to be done manually ok then it’s just expensive

A 2023 dollar would probably be equivalent to 65c in 2019 dollars so that’s about right. We had a huge inflation money printing event in 2020 and everything is now priced to reflect that.

If you do it transparently employees on the chopping block know they are there and can look for other work, those that aren’t don’t have to worry about it and can keep doing what they always do. It’s a trade off but if lying is your culture

Nordvpn seemed like a decent choice for streaming bbc but I won’t use them because of a company advertises that hard it must be bad. I would never trust them for privacy they are too big

This kind of stuff happens in blue collar environments. If you have a bad culture and don’t immediately address it then it grows into a huge liability. Considering their safety culture is lax it’s not surprising they are also lax on radical

That’s all great but what most companies lack is an actual currency system. A universal medium of exchange that can be exchanged for goods and services. Often you need help from another group but your group isn’t in a position to barter 1:1
