The real story is how web forums are the worst way to converse with real people all across the world. How can we at least get back to the NNTP type of control we had in the 90's? HN is teetering on failure, and I'd just like to g

My takeaway opinion: Sad to see that Khosrowshahi did not end the self driving program at Uber. Yes, I know hindsight is 20/20, but that's exactly why an incoming CEO is brought in. Everyone was saying autonomous vehicles was Ube

1. What a clear failure for self-driving/collision avoidance technology, especially in conditions (night time) that we've been told are much better for machines to "see" in. 2. "safety driver" useless if he

I'm hesitant to just blame IBM and call it the day. What about the U.S. healthcare.gov website? Do we also blame CGI Federal and Accenture? There's probably blame on both sides, but it seems nowadays that "it needs to be a

The kettlebell swing is a great way to train/fix your hip hinge. Squatting is also another movement/position we in the west have seemingly lost the ability to do well.

It sounds like if they would've just asked him, he might have allowed them to place the camera on his property, or arranged for some type of monetary compensation.

Has something like gcc symbol versioning been talked about? I can probably sense the sneers from some, but I'd imagine there could be an evolution/"go way" to implement it.
