This is factually incorrect. American fast food restaurants apply a standard dose of ketchup to each burger. Additional ketchup is provided, sometimes only on request, for patrons who prefer a "wetter" burger. Source: I spent 21

What you call a crime I call the lesser evil option for heating my house in the country. The other options are peat and coal, neither of which are renewable on anything like the timescale in which a tree can be grown. I keep it at about 15°

Either driving uses a lot of fossil fuels, and therefore driving without using fossil fuels is better, or the switch from fossil fueled to electric cars is a drop in the bucket of the overall solution. Pick one. Don't bring your dislik

Lose weight, quit tech, go do something that involves more moving and less sitting in one position tensing the same muscles repeatedly forever. Not a troll post. I did this. It worked.

I'd love to share my comp, but as the only person in my country at my rank in my department (at a 100k-person global company!) I might as well just post it on LinkedIn.

Fewer hours awake is fewer hours snacking. When I was doing a big weight loss I'd be very careful about putting myself to bed at like 22:00, because the later I'm awake, the greater my risk of snacks and booze entering the picture

Still a pity it didn't literally go the way of BeOS by acquiring Be, like might have happened. I used both NeXTstep on 68k and BeOS on Intel, and much preferred the latter. NeXTstep was a crawling horror of abstractions, which might ha
