I like it. Not perfect but minimalist as hell and indeed, very fast. Nice one.

Nice idea for a startup! OK, let's see: 1) There's no clear explanation of what the site is. Your H1 or equivalent is "Any food you don't eat?" - my response would be "no", some confusion, and then closing

I've just launched my first comic, Carcosa - http://www.strangecompany.org/carcosa/ . It's made using CGI techniques, but post-processed to look like hand-drawn art. People seem to like it so far. I'm wo

I'm guessing you have already done this, but if not - have you looked into "codependency" as a mental health issue? "Caring too much about people being happy" is pretty much the definition of a codependency problem.

Sounds rather similar to the way that the *Souls games (Dark Souls, Demons' Souls) present their narrative - as bits and pieces, hidden in an otherwise difficult to understand world. It's a very effective trick.

Writer of the original article here. I've been avoiding commenting so far as the discussion's made most of the points I'd want to make, but I thought I'd chime in on this one. Speaking as someone in the same position as

Thank you - that is exactly the kind of detailed information I was looking for. MUCH appreciated. Given my other physical exercise hobbies are mostly martial arts related, I think I can live with those injury rates. :)

"it turns out that how to "stand up straight" is very counterintuitive" That sentence sums up most of my last decade or so's reading and learning on posture nicely :) Posture: it's harder than it looks.

Speaking as someone with posture problems, I'm interested by heavy lifting, but very concerned about the potential for injury. Do you have any stats on how safe it is, particularly vis a vis back injuries? It seems like a bit of a high

I've got a reasonably good knowledge of the current state of play in VR, and to the best of my knowledge the answer's "no". Why not? Looking at the device, I'd say there are three problems that would put me off work

Well, every six months or so I review my various VPSes and I usually find at least one I'd forgotten about, so unless I'm unusually forgetful I'd say "yes" :)

Having worked on a self-hosted product recently: DON'T. SAAS is a great deal easier - it's easier on you support-wise and it's also much easier to sell to most clients. I'd expect your cost of customer acquisition to be

My word this is impressive. How did you find all of these outlets? I always find that in the aggregation era, it's very tricky to find everyone covering a topic, rather than just the top 2-3 people. I wish there was something similar

There are a couple of other startup options for this coming out of the indie world, too, much like Gorilla. Sadly I can't recall their names, but I've seen them in the recent past.
