Both Square and PayPal are public and support "buying" of Crypto on their platforms. Coinbase is going to be IPOing soon into much fanfare.

IMO Telegram is more similar to Facebook Messenger than WhatsApp from a security and privacy standpoint. Both do not use end-to-end encryption by default (but both have a separate end-to-end encrypted private chat mode).

One of the benefits of Signal is that it can also do SMS on Android, so it works great with people like you who insist on using that. Your SMS messages will appear right alongside the native Signal ones in the app.

Matrix does have a feature called Bridges which would allow you to talk to someone on WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage, etc. through your Matrix client. However, I suspect that they have some reliability issues. https://matrix.org&#x

I really don't understand why Signal doesn't just keep a encrypted backup in Google Drive/iCloud. This seems like such a solved problem and yet they instead invented their own Bluetooth sync thing for iOS and manually copying

If there is going to be a debt fueled bubble I would prefer it to be in Bitcoin over something that actually matters like housing or education. If Bitcoin prices go up 10x nobody really cares. If housing prices go up 10x then people can

One of the most common critiques of modern portfolio theory is that it defines risk by volatility rather than downside risk. While a stock will never have price-to-book multiple less than 1 (unless fraud has occurred) a cryptocurrency has n

Are there not gun companies that would want to advertise on these gun channels? Seems like a lot of YouTube's problems would go away if they just allowed advertisers to choose which channels to show ads on.
