I think it is more than time for industries to start understanding what an operating system should be in their domain. Right now it seems like every automotive player has something cobbled together from a 30 year evolution of software on ca

I agree with the premise that publishers should get of AMP and have been a critic of the framework since its inception. Yet we have to concede that in 2015 it actually solved an important problem. Being on the mobile web necessitates priori

Wow, impressive feature set! How long was the incubation time of this project? I see that the initial git commit already contains quite a lot :-) I think this server hits a very interesting market segment of the users that want to self host

I'd say the critical question here would be whether these characteristics can also be found on the edible mushroom or if it wanted to outright poison you :-D

I also love the idea of having the hard to automate stuff be encoded in checklists (or creating checklists as a first step in formalizing a process). My biggest issue was that every time I looked there weren't tools around that would s

Yeah but the size of those fan bases does have some practical upper bounds. Usually accounts follow a set of x people where x is in the hundreds whereas creators need to get to Y followers where Y is typically measured in a size orders of m

Its an interesting notion. If you can control the sum of all scientific sponsorships surely you will be able to control the subjects of research. And yes in 1940 30 million would surely go a long way to do this but it is 2023 and there are

I'm really rooting for getting the onslaught of rubbishware to end but don't see the right to repair laws making a dent there. Those laws are engineered to make it possible to repair complex, expensive things. Dealing with intenti

Yes that is exactly the problem. Especially with cheap as garbage direct sales from China and internet shopping being the norm, your chances of finding legitimate high quality sellers on amazon or else are practically zero. Even worse, nowa

Who was the guy that said "humanity signed its death certificate once MBAs found out that they can literally sell trash as long as it is cheap enough to make it inconvenient to return"? No one? Was it just me then?

Im not surprized by this. The Angular 1.x codebase is significantly different to the 2x architecture (which is still what modern angular runs on). Also back then the ecosysten and tooling wasnt as stable as it is now. Migrating from 1.x was

Would be definitely interesting to read a report on what triggers this error! I don’t think it is a tile error as presumably the backend that collects all the answers would be set up in a way that is resilient to upstream errors. So maybe t

Re: hate for bicycles I think, especially in cities, you just have the problem of bicycles not fitting in either of the two historically present transport modes. They are too slow for the street and waaaaay to fast for the pedestrian side.

Signal is not decentralized and I don't really see how it could compete with what matrix has to offer. The Blockchain comment is a jab at all the "crypto messengers" out there like obsidian, echo, status and the like.
