This is the cake lecture right? I think it gets mentioned at the end of that talk but he might not have said it then. He also has the part about predictive video (which way does the thing fall). From 2015. https://arxiv.org&#x

The "sentiment" weights are just the supervised classification part on top of the "compression" piece. An autoencoder is closer to pure compression. SVD is compression as well. SVD is also useful to solve some equatio

Larry Summers is an interesting choice. Any ideas why? I know he was Sheryl Sandberg's mentor/professor which gives him a tech connection. However, I've watched him debate Paul Krugman on inflation in some economic lecture

This is basic bullying. I would ask for specific examples of the performance decline. That will also be a "he said you said" situation. However, sunlight is the best disinfectant. A bully cannot stand in isolation unless he is

The "meta" here is just the probability distribution of stone densities. The only way it can process those is by monte Carlo simulation. The DNN (trained by reinforcement learning) evaluates the simulations and outputs the top mo

Alphazero runs monte carlo tree search so it has a next move "planning" simulator. This computes the probability that specific moves up to some distance lead to a win. LLMs do not have a "planning" module or simulator.

There was a program where you could fly to Germany and buy a BMW there, drive it for a few days and ship it home. Ended up being cheaper than buying it at a local dealership. Not sure if it is still available. Dealerships are local jobs pr
