I know these are inanimate objects and we shouldn’t humanize them. Blame XKCD, I suppose. But I feel a connection to these robots, and I pray that one day we can go to Mars and erect them a place of honor or bring them “home” to a Smithsoni

Lawyer here. I give this guy’s book out to anyone I care about. Friends, family. I even highlight the bit at the end with the practical advice. Everyone needs to know this. The friendliest police officer in the world is not your friend

Have played this for a week now. Took me 3-4 days to understand the no-kicker rule. Once you do, the game becomes a lot easier. I almost wish there were kickers. Maybe modify it to no kickers in the turn or river.

I agree with the sentiment of your post. I can absorb a 10% bump in prices without really blinking. But the bottom 50% of Americans cannot. I wish it was as cut and dry as telling them to just strike, but I don’t think it’s that simple.

Such a good, and important, take on the state of affairs. Outright censorship is bad. But even worse is when an environment is fostered in which folks will preemptively self-censor. It’s terrifying.

Your first point is spot on. I’ve had many many delicious black bean burgers. You see this all the time with “keto” junk foods. Keto brownies were definitely the worst. Point being, we waste a lot of resources trying to ape “unhealthy” food

Got to this point as well. But it requires a certain amount of logic and intelligence to put together the process of elimination test efficiently. Got mine on try 6.

This is why any reputable journalist/leaker takes the information and reproduces it prior to any dissemination (hopefully destroying the original source material).

What age did you test at? I’m knocking on 40 and thinking now would be a good time.

Very aware of it. Only care about 1% of the time, and the 1% isn’t a big deal. Had Android until about iPhone 6. By that time, iPhone has closed the gap on the dealbreakers for me (and continues to do so). And once I acclimated to the iOS f

They need to stop commingling FBA goods. Full stop. It’s a smart, efficient idea in a world of good-faith actors. Not in a world of scammers and knock offs

No has to be understood to be “maybe.” if there’s one negative that will be very very hard to ever approve, this is it.

Had never heard of Cassowary until I played Far Cry 3. My experience, albeit in a video game, established the extreme danger these animals present.

Really happy to see this write up. I’m probably in the tank, but I genuinely believe that Apple strives to do right by its customers, and to be a good company. it’s not a nonprofit, and I don’t expect them to act like one. Sometimes I feel

I’ve never really unpacked this idea in my mind before, but if you stop for a second you can quickly appreciate how powerful this type of experience is. Older folks do not like feeling left behind. if Apple is causing them to feel liberated

Lawyer here. I love this idea. I think you make this work even better with a lot of part-time lawyers forming an army. In a world of remote work, I think it would be an appealing proposition. 100k for 10 hours a week of part time work.

I'm no fanboy (but, admittedly, a Mac user), but this was a pretty rough comparison. Linux can't make use of half of the specialized chips and functions in the M2. I suppose, if someone needed an article to learn that M2 hardware

The fact is, Apple is generally one of the best support experiences you’re going to have today. But there are also 1,000,000,000+ iOS devices out there, millions of laptops, and a lot of customers. You’re going to have plenty of bad experie

This is actually one of the most common TCPA claims out there these days. They are sometimes referred to as “wrong number“ claims, or “reassigned number“ claims. You get a cell phone with a new number, and the old owner of that number was,

In California small claims court, they typically want you to try and make a demand. But you don’t have to make a demand in all instances to sue. OP made a blanket statement that you have to make a demand or you can’t sue. That’s not correc

This brings up an interesting point about the TCPA. Individual employees and owners can be personally liable, not just their companies. It’s a vicious angle to TCPA litigation.

Sure, I know of no jurisdiction that requires a pre-suit demand for a TCPA claim. “Issue a notice of demand explaining that you are seeking payment for TCPA violation and give them 10 days to respond. Send mail with signature delivery. (Yo
