Edit: below isn’t true. You could set immutable in cache header and the browser wouldn’t verify. —— Original comment: With browser cache, the browser stills need to send a HEAD request to see if the content was modified. These requests are

Previous docker-compose was a separate program, written in Python if I remember correctly, people usually preferred to them as v1. Later docker incorporated it into the docker binary itself as a subcommand so that’s v2

I just take a look at the uv feature list and the feature I wanted most is Python version management. I'm using micromamba to install all interested Python versions (from 3.8 - 3.12) and set tell poetry about the python location. But l

I’m using poetry because of the default lock file usage (there isn’t a global, mutable state, all changes required to update the lock file). I wish that this function could be incorporated to poetry directly

DVC support multiple remotes. S3 is one of them, there are also WebDAV, local FS, Google Drive, and a bunch of others. You could see the full list here [0]. Disclaimer: not affiliated with DVC in anyway, just a user. [0] https://

It's very much feasible. I'm currently using DVC for DICOM, the repo has growth to about 5TB of small dcm files (less than < 100KB each). We use a NFS mounted NAS for development but the DVC's cache needs to be on the NVMe

How is the cross-compilation of these 3 languages compared to Golang? I suggested Golang because it’s super easy, just set the correct GOARCH and you’re good to go.

Tmux control mode was contributed by the iTerm2’s author and so far no other terminal has implemented this. Every time I see a new terminal emulator, I immediately check for this functionality.

You don't need to install CUDA toolkit on host system. Nvidia driver + Nvidia container toolkit would do the job. You could check official instructions at [0] [0] https://docs.nvidia.com/datacenter/cloud-native
