I consider myself reasonably frugal and thoughtful about money, but I definitely fell into one of these traps buying a suit for the first time. I went in with a specific sale in mind, they told me they had a two-for-one deal going so I migh

I'm just surprised at how slow my hover-to-click time was (never got it below 100ms). Thought it would be <50ms for sure when trying hard.

Is any of this currently used in ID theft (other than residential location)? Earlobe shape isn't exactly a security question. Might screw them over in the future but hard to call this the full identity theft package.

I don't understand what you mean. Are you reading the quote backwards? They're claiming 1999 had a then-record high amount of surveillance. That the trend continued is hardly a reason to call the quote insane!

Check the temperature of where you keep the milk. Some parts of the fridge are warmer than others. Lots of fridges now have spots for milk in the door, but that's probably the warmest spot. Move it to the top back where the cold comes

If you hire an artist to paint a landscape for you, do you have total ownership of that painting? Could you recreate it digitally and sell it? Assume no extra rights were explicitly transferred, just a standard commission of a piece of art,

Why is tab separated value format superior to CSV? I understand why CSV is a poor choice and commas are more likely to be needed in cell contents than tabs, but there's not a standard format for TSV anymore than there is for CSV.
