This is a non issue. The CEO is leading the co pan's vision and accountable for its execution. Of course you want them to be opinionated. They do need to be sensible and grow value, but requiring CEOs to just ignore everything and smil

I respect them for shipping a prototype. Really. But it's also a $3500 device. It's really difficult to feel premium and delightful with a rough experience.

Used to be 300lbs. Going down to 200 took 18 months of eating 400 calories as many days as I could endure, and fill myself with water. It's a thankless process. You fight years of muscle memory that tells you that you should treat your

I love how the US box art feels like some obscure Nobunaga's Ambition / Romance of Three Kingdoms strategy game. I can understand why marketing probably thought it was! It's just hilarious.

Yoshitaka Murayama, creator of the Suikoden and Eiyuden Chronicles, has passed away. He was a creative, daring, passionate man. Thank you for the wonderful games, Murayama san. You made a lot of people happy.

Very cool setup. Congrats. Obviously this is geared at people who already know Advance Wars. If you wanna make it more newbie friendly (not that you have to), plenty of hand holding you could add. But definitely a neat demo.

It's incomprehensible. I think it came out in 2003. Handheld consoles and their UX were well understood by then. I can't imagine how this device would get greenlit, pass through user testing, and ship. There are so many steps wher

Nokia was incredibly political. But they were comfortably smug too. When we made games for Nokia platforms, we'd hear horror stories from engineers. Extreme management to engineer ratio (like 1 for 5 or less), non stop meetings and sli

One thing this game does masterfully is create situations with multiple possible outcomes without telling you. Spoilers below. One scene has you surrounded by an angel mob of civilians. They want to kill you but you are armed to the teeth.
