I have canadian cousins and they send me the real stuff every year. It's just what you prefer. Some people like a Rolex watch they can flash at parties. Others are happy with a cheap imitation with a nice form that they can wear daily

One of the key killing factors is the sheer waiting time on a grant. It used to take a matter of weeks and months to apply for a grant and wait for a result on whether you got it. Now, we're talking on the order of months to a year. Im

Is it difficult to hook microcontrollers together? My outside understanding was that you match the voltage ranges of the pins via a level shifter, and then match the sampling rate with a dedicated clock pin? I guess what I'm asking is,

Oh it's an ADC of some type. GPIO takes 0 or 3.3/5V at low frequencies, ethernet signals are a continuous range of 0 to 2V at high frequencies. Fundamentally incompatible without the PHY+magnetics

Will the complex apps be discoverable though, and if not, will the devs bother at all? I feel like this would be a win for old-school open source, where people would do it for the love of the aim, and better vetted app stores like F-Droid m

Make life affordable and give time outside work, and the population crisis* will fix itself. Keep insisting on Draconian hours for unlivable pay, and you get what you asked for. * Falling population is a political problem, not a social one.

I wonder what spanners Windows can throw into the works to slow them down at this point, or if they're so checked out of the Desktop market as they suckle down hard on that Azure teat, that they're more than happy to let Linux eat
