We have scrum master as a rotating hat with all the other senior developers on the team. 99% of my day is code or meetings on what I'm coding. The only burden is once a week I look at jira with some managers and help them click boxes.

XML is pretty tolerable with a slightly more sophisticated editor that supports completion. The things that make YAML awful never get any better.

I think the practice is supposed to be a little more than what's depicted there. When they start an interrogation, they try to ask light or at least easy questions to see how a suspect answers without real pressure, then when they hit

I've used tiling window managers before, but I don't really find them to be that big of a productivity boost. I have two monitors and I prefer to have all my windows maximized. The only splitting that I need is in my text editor.

It generally isn't. Some people don't have the ability to metabolize phenylalanine, and it will slowly poison them. However, if this is you, you would definitely know.
