No idea what you're saying. The NYT A/B testing headlines is not something that impacts teen mental health in the same way that social media impacts mental health.

Who said this had to do with censorship of content? The issue with social media is algorithms have been fine tuned to incite FOMO, narcissism, self-esteem issues, etc., and keep people addicted/endlessly scrolling.

Do you honestly believe social media has no impact on teen mental health, whether it be related to self esteem or inability to concentrate? It doesn't seem like a stretch to me at all.

It's not that rents are declining, it's that interest rates keep going up.

This is a really uncalled for response. The original comment pointed to the ostentatiousness of a luxury rental building, as if there is no place for it in SF. It lost value because of a global pandemic years after it launched that has caus

Current vacancy rate is still less than 10%, so unsure what makes it ill-conceived. There is/was a lack of amenity-rich rentals targeted to young professional types in SF like you’d see in NYC and it fills a certain niche. Main issue i

It hasn’t even been 1 year since mainstream awareness of AI started. Saying interest has already peaked seems premature especially when revenue is ramping so quickly.

Ok, I correct my original point: most EVs do not have AM radio not all due to EMF. It has really nothing to do with the fact that EMF is so high in EVs that it interferes with AM radio signals. You can decide that it doesn’t matter.

The fact that your EV has AM doesn't negate the fact that EMF interferes with AM radio... The article you shared literally says "Electrical interference and reducing cost and manufacturing complexity also played a role."

This is not true at all. EVs emit such high amounts of EMF that it interferes with AM radio, which is why AM radio doesn't exist in any EVs.

It's fine if you do not think high EMF readings are unhealthy in any way. But you obviously know UV from the sun is not the same as EM radiation emitted from a microwave or an EV. It's also not just whether something emits radiati

At some point over the last few years it feels like the tech industry went from full embrace of "diversity & inclusion" to now some variation of championing being based/red-pilled/anti-woke. It's at the very lea

It will depend on whether you have other income or not (eg retired or not). If you don’t have other income the first 45k if single or $90k if married of long term cap gains will be taxed at 0%. In that case your effective tax rate in CA is

Which bonds would that include? "Qualified dividends" is a term used to describe dividends received from equities. It's not a term related to fixed income unless I'm missing something. There are things like municipal bon

What is an example of "fixed income with qualified dividends"? Interest received from treasuries are taxed like ordinary income. The only special tax benefit is interest income is exempt from state income taxes.

It's not comparable. You can compare with a meter yourself.

If you're thinking about buying an EV you should really use an EMF meter while in the car when it is in different states (charging, parked, driving) before deciding. EVs emit a ton of radiation. Not something people talk enough about.

They raised $200M and last raised at $1.5B. Depending on liquidation preference clauses I don't think any employee outside the founders will make much from this sale.

of course this counts. scooters were viewed at the next Uber in 2017-2018 with massive amounts of funding from well known VCs. and yes I realize the majority of SPACs were pre-product scams.

Birds scooter (remember them?) was just kicked off NYSE and trading on OTC. It's literally down -99.7% since they IPO'd. This was valued at nearly $10B at the peak.

It's more expensive but eating out is nothing like the US. Got 2 euro coffees and croissant combos in Spain all summer. Especially since tipping 20% is not expected.
