JS's small standard lib is the cause of some of these issues. When I look at one of the JS projects I have worked on there is a non trivial amount of 'is-*' packages whose only job is to identify the type of the object.

Phoenix is often mentioned in conjunction with Rails because Elixir's syntax is often described as "Ruby like" and the guy who made Elixir is(was?) a member of the rails core team.

In the world of ipv6 how useful is keeping a list of ips any more? I suppose if you see a lot of requests coming out of a network you can just block ips based on the network portion of the address.

Python async is co-operative multi-tasking (as opposed to per-emptive) There is an event loop that goes through all the tasks and runs them. The issue is the event loop can only move on to the next task when you reach an await. So if you ru

It could be. I watch the FastAPI repos a lot and tones of people do not understand how async python works and put their models with sync code in an async context.

I have seen wadjan but I did not know the name, the one I have is sorta a cross between the two. No flat bottom inside the pan but it has handles like the wadjan (probably due to the weight). Here is a link that might be more useful https:
