Amazon app is actually a glorified webview.

Are you _amazon_? Nearly none of the companies have the scale of amazon, nor the needs of amazon. "It's proven many many times" is all in the eyes of the beholder, i'd say. Sure it might be slow if you are optimizing for

I actually find building SPAs much easier than building MPA from complexity and performance pov. I have done ASP before, then ASP.NET Webforms, then ASP.NET MVC, then angular, then react. I find react the easiest, and cleanest way to do the

Then you want solution to notification problem. Very specific issue vs broader "web sites are bad, apple is doing good" issue.

Chrome extensions (which are sadly still disabled in android chrome) actually can fix this without new feature (beauty of extensibility, i guess). Dark reader extension is fairly good.

I mean... So far, most things that I consider "standard" have been _fairly_ meaningful for consumers, and open for everyone to use, free of charge. I am extremely happy when I don't have to install an app, including when vide

If the distribution of the app is gatekept by apple, it's problematic. That's why apple hasn't invested much in web.

Safari on mobile has lagged behind standards for a long time, because doing so wouldn't strengthen their app business. E.g. webrtc. Safari still lags behind many things. When you call people to be careful, you are missing the conflict

I am working on a pwa for android/chrome extension for desktop that would let users know if the price of an item they were watching drops. If you assumed pwa, you can see why they are useful. Also if slack were mobile friendly, i could

That's a ponzi too, and no, your ordinary American only looked at the large yield and said oh, i should get in on that, even though, it was some sort of ponzi with funny dynamics. So no, it's still a ponzi, and no, most people had

This is simply not true. US has very long arms when it comes to fraud or violations. If it's consumers are harmed, they might seek criminal charges even.

You are missing a large segment. A lot of people don't care about things you care about. Most spend lots of time looking at a tiny screen and playing games there that have graphics quality of a 90s game. That's the segment you cou

That's not even what i said. I said the other direction. Ponzis are unethical, and wrong, and it always should be regardless of who is doing it and whether someone is benefiting from it. I find crypto useful and innovative. I find maki
