IMO, in 2023 M2 based macbooks are the obvious choice for IOS dev since you can basically test using very similar apple silicon on your macbook.

I don't think Switzerland is "problematic" because they prioritize laws and policies that benefit the Swiss for ex. Same for iran etc. I don't see what the skin color or cultural diversity of the country really has to
