I think New Englanders have it worse than most other American regions because their culture is so bland and denialist because of the Puritanical influences that still roam unchecked. It's probable that Mainers would hate Portland just

Sometimes we have to look at questions in a hard, unflinching way, and prepare ourselves for the answers that come. It could be that "too much" focus on diversity could create "reverse racism" where there are somehow ins

I used to be very involved in a number of activist groups, and I think the drug culture was significantly harmful to their effectiveness. Activism itself is not a threat to the status quo. Successful activism is.

If you demand any information that opposes your existing opinions to be spoon-fed to you, but blindly accept things that you agree with, you're just covering your ears in a different sort of way rather than being truly open-minded. I&#

I don't disagree with it; I just think it's suspicious that people are publicly acknowledging that now rather than at any other time. That said, marijuana is certainly less benign than you're making it out to be. I know s

This is new to me, thanks for pointing it out. That said, this doesn't mean marijuana needs to be recreationally legalized; in the US it would only need to be made a Schedule II drug rather than a Schedule I drug. Cocaine is a Schedule
