If you only look at it as pure loss, which would be wrong, WhatsApp (Facebook) most likely made a lot more money (and will continue to so) with the data, than they were fined.

The only decent fine was the Amazon one and even that one was minuscule compared to their net income. It was also covered in secrecy and will likely be overturned and drastically lowered like the other big cases like British airways and Mar

ApplePay doesn’t have a 30% cut on transactions, no bank in world would touch them if that were the case. So does your country provide phones that also serves as payment solutions or is it still plastic cards? Or are you suggesting everyone

They should have nothing to do with payments? And yet their first product is so vastly superior and more secure than any product offered by banks or card providers, tell me how keeping the status quo with plastic cards is better.

If I understand this post correct they seem to like the idea of putting routes in the file system (Next uses magical file names as a way to generalize routes for those who haven’t used it). To me this makes absolutely no sense, a route does

I will assume this will end up just how banking regulation ends up, the banks makes the same amount of money (or more) and the loss from regulation is made up somewhere else (higher fees, worse interest rates, etc). Pay-per-download seems t

That is the typical “two wrongs make a right” argument, fossil fuels being bad makes it ok for wind turbines to generate land fill too.l And I answered a statement about recycling of turbines, nothing more.

I use Apple One (family) and can add storage on top of it. It’s not very many tiers, but 50GiB, 200GiB and 2TiB. Which puts storage at 250, 400 and 2200 in total. Adding 2TiB is 10 dollars a month (on top of the one subscription) which is c

New leadership? He took over when it was engulfed in flames (he’s just the scapegoat), they need to clean up above him. This is a CEO and board problem, who let this run rampant for over a decade.
