I read this as since Evernote is not a cutting edge, hypey startup they don’t need to have as high a calibre/pay grade of staff as they currently do have by being based in California. Hence can halve labour costs by moving to Europe an

Cloudflare is even cheaper than Google AFAIK. I already use them for my main domains and will probably move all my other Google domains over there as well.

Awesome, thanks for the info! We are building more and more features on Cloudflare and absolutely love the whole experience, faultless.

Sounds fair enough to me. Look what AWS did to Elasticsearch (amongst many others).

WooCommerce is free plus a $5 a month VPS if you want to do e-commerce yourself. If you want support + hosting + security features then pay for a SaaS.

Exactly why we refuse to use Sidekiq. “Hey, you have to pay to guarantee your jobs won’t just vanish”. No thanks.

As a Brit this article is laughable. People are literally dying in the UK because so called wonderful 'free' public healthcare doesn't have the ambulances to send to them. Tons of potholes everywhere too. Outside London and m

I really feel for Fly, as a potential customer. They are trying really hard. I would still love to use them one day and this post is definitely a step in the right direction. Growing is painful but they have smart people working there so fi

I considered Fly for our Rails app currently hosted on Dokku, but even 3 months ago there were grumblings that it was flaky and not quite suitable yet for production. So now we are considering Northflank, Render (if they get a London region

Dear John, I absolutely love and admire Cloudflare’s services as a customer (and recent investor), but please please get stuff like this sorted as it will absolute ruin Cloudflare’s reputation in the long run. I beg you!

Cloudflare is ludicrously good value for money, even on the $25 a month plan. Even on the free plan you get a huge amount for $0.

I still haven't turned on my gas central heating yet once in London. This week is set to peak at 16/17 degrees too which is pretty warm for me.

It's a tricky question surely, akin to the Ship of Theseus? At what point is the code sufficiently different? Is there legal precedent for this?

Off topic but Apple don’t really mind if you buy a new one and then return it after a week once your old one is fixed. Apple support even told my father to do this.
