That is just not true. In the UK at least, the ICO has begun prosecutions for breaches. There is, to me at least, a real change in awareness among devs about privacy and data security. Surely a sign it's working.

Clubhouse. It's genuinely brilliant https://clubhouse.io/ . Basically super trello, has epics, projects, milestones, GH integration etc, but doesn't feel bloated.

This misses the genius of k8s. When you adopt it, you’re adopting a completely declarative way of provisioning your system. It’s a total paradigm shift and I will never go back. My big want, is a kube as a service for small workloads - I.e

No I mean now, today August 18 2019, now that we actually know what it means and, more importantly, what it will cost. Why on earth would we do this?

It’s a govt risk assessment document, not just “politics”. Assuming you’re a brexiteer....what exactly is the positive case for brexit now? Because no one I can hear is making it, merely saying it has to happen, like a visit to one’s in law

I recommend looking at Phoenix LiveView. It’s still early, but it’s a revelation in terms of eliminating pointless, complex JS.

I didn’t particularly love SF, but this is a weird view. We spent 5 days there walking most places with the occasional (unimpressive) PT trip. It was fine. The Tenderloin is certainly sketchy, but the city is very walkable and quite nice to

Agree, new UX sans home buttons is amazing. I was a sceptic but ended up buying XS outright as it didn’t make sense to spend so much money on a XR and not get the camera. It’s an amazing device.

As he said though: monetisation is not as good as the core product. From a media buying perspective, IG is kind of niche. It takes loads of work to produce content for it, but it’s really hard to measure ROI because it’s mostly only good fo

I’ve been doing masters swimming for the last few years, through waxing and waning levels of commitment and dedication. We do around 3.5 -4.5 k per session. When I’m consistently going 3+ times a week there’s no other fitness high like it.

"Impeding real estate sales to foreigners simply means obstructing the monetization of maybe the most valuable asset that the Western world has. (or maybe the second most valuable)" Literally the whole point of doing it.

It’s literally a certain portion of boomers and above who are these people’s main constituency. TPUSA et al can try and claim there’s a silent minority of youth for these proto-fascists, stats would disagree though. It’s the boomers mostly,

I was a sceptic, but it’s actually great. The amount of powerful stuff you can do with it, with process builder, platform events and flows, e.g. is incredible. Still super annoying in a lot of ways, but it doesn’t really make any sense to

At first I was against this, but then I realised that this, even if it fails, is the kind of audacious, well publicised scheme that we need. It's ambulance at the bottom of the cliff stuff, by definition of being a cleanup op, but hell

Or just read reviews if you don't actually care about the book. The leading news papers and literary journals all publish reviews of most books. This is just sad, especially the emphasis on consume.
