I agree. It's never been a problem of aesthetics to me; it ruins the relevance of inline links. If the link said something like "Buffalo Bills ticket trends" then linking to somewhere like SeatGeek would make a lot of sense. That's not what

A very cool and useful tool though I hope the irony of a testing tool without tests isn't lost on Eric ;) Will definitely keep an eye on this one.

I wouldn't say "pay with your PayPal account" because that makes it seem like you need a PayPal account -- they also accept credit cards for those without accounts.

Or, "Why I Use Mailman and Spam Filtering". I just talked to a list moderator about this issue yesterday, actually. It's highly annoying and some project contributors have actually posted on lists to say "Sorry, there's too much spam, I'm

I don't know if the iMac is as upgradable, but when I bought my Mac Pro I just got the default amount and upgraded it with third-party RAM at a sane price.

Another personal anecdote: I developed severe pain in my mousing wrist and switched to a trackball. Within a week of switching all pain was gone.

Dan was always great at making everybody feel like his friend -- the crazy part is that he was pretty much always sincere about it! He was definitely the reason we met you in the first place (hell, he's the reason I know a lot of people) an

Unfortunately, the way I found him pretty much rules that out. I'm foregoing description to be kind to family and friends, but it wasn't something you accidently do. A couple minor things he did directly beforehand which would seem complete

Tom here. I am exhausted so pardon the informality and lack of feeling. Questions, etc. please contact me. Paul has a note that he's going to be posting on the YC blog at some point; try to keep discussion to one post, for my sanity. I will

It's a risky position for TC to take, though; now they can't make link-bait claims tomorrow about how Wave is an utter failure and a sinking ship that will eventually bring down all of Google.

The Internet has been indispensable in my quest to find up-and-coming artists! Many of the bands I've learned about have been introduced at random by Pandora. I've gone on to buy quite a few albums (and seen shows) thanks to that passive di

If file sharing does directly contribute to lost revenue then that revenue wasn't ever (or is no longer) deserved. I pay for music, but only when I think it's really warranted. Artists have to prove to me that what I'm buying is worth pay

It's gotten to the point now where the first thing I say about any editor is, "That's cool and all... but does it have vim key bindings?" If it doesn't.... :q I don't care how many built-in debuggers your IDE has; if I can't navigate it l
