Thanks for sharing. This is a bit off-topic, but if you are interested in Scraping Web Pages, you might find that http://cQuery.com is an interesting solution which uses CSS Selectors (much like jQuery) as its mechanism to extract content

Is the 192 the bitrate or the frequency response? I thought 192 in MP3 was the bit rate, not the maximum frequency response...

Has anyone had a look at their hi-fi amp recently? If probably probably doesn't handle much more than 80 kHz and your speakers probably dont respond to anything over 20 kHz. So yes, 192 kHz is pointless UNLESS you intend using it for studio

What the startup industry needs is for the business world to feel that they can pay a reasonable price and get a great bespoke software product built. In just the same way they pay for insurance, legal fees, IT, staff, they also pay for som

...so how would corporate banking systems get built? Although I understand the sentiment, and have followed it with a number of my projects, an aweful lot of companies build and sell software that is not necesarily useful for their own purp

Yep, completely agree with the article. For me an important difference between the 'web' and 'apps' is that generally speaking nobody builds mobile apps out of generosity or egalitarianism, ie to give something to the world for free - mobil

Great insight, I mostly agree. And I am really crossing my fingers that HTML5 will quickly become a recognized app technology across all web platforms.

completely agree about this 'dual input' mode - crazy. But also these modern planes seem to jump in and out of 'modes' without any warning or confirmation. I believe the 2008 plane crash at Madrid (largely pilot error again) also suffered f

yes, and I'm not sure under what situation a 'democratic' dual-input mode is a good idea! Maybe everyone on the plane could have one!
