Isnt the "Macs are expensive" meme getting old? The prices are actually very competitive and I'm not talking about vs upgrading the ram in your system 76 laptop.

Well Facebook built some actual technology. They aren't just making picture filters for genetalia.

Wow if only we could get Gnome and Linux on there and give up this mailing list for patches nonsense we'd be golden.

Wow, I definitely feel this. I just switched from an iPhone to an Android device and it does seem like a second class phone experience. The gap between all recent Apple phones and even the best of the best Google and their partners offer wi

I can assure you that you are incorrect. I am the primary source and very aware of Parse's scale. I worked on building a feature that allowed Parse to list that many databases (it had response that does not fit in the document size lim

Parse's MongoDB deployment was definitely not the largest by a longshot. Not even top 10. They had the largest number of databases on a single replica set for sure, but largest in terms of cluster size or data size? No way.

MongoDB receives a fair amount of criticism here but the company is a fantastic place to work. I'm proud that I was able to learn and grow as a developer alongside all of those who have been trying (and succeeding) to make a great data

Sure, but what do you do if your migration requires merging rows of existing data? You can't rewrite the pointers to the merged rows while the application is online.

Biggest deal here (for me) is the HTML 5 download attribute. Without that you cannot name or provide an extension for files that are triggered for download.

This is great. Remember that most people will benefit from this change and I love that Google is being aggressive about it. If your backgrounded browser app needs 100% of the CPU, you've made a mistake.

Except Fiat, which owns Ferrari, also makes Fiats, so they have the expertise, the design chops, and the machines yet still do not use it for their lowest end cars.

You must be trolling. Look at the size of it. The thermals for the quad core chip don't make sense and they can very likely only fit 16gb of ram. The T series is what you are looking for. Try find any laptop of that size with 32gb ram
