I'd say about 90% of the time I get the dreaded "However, we were unable to create a copy of all your files" message in the takeout email. After multiple retries, it eventually succeeds but it's a manual process and usin

What's the current recommended way of getting your photos out from Google Photos? And I don't mean manually via Google Takeout (that's a dumpster fire and doesn't work most of the time) but I'd like to automate it f

This is the most entertaining (and uninformed) statement I've read today. I'd be curious to know what makes you think this is a plausible scenario?

Random data point but as a non-native speaker I could understand about 80% of the words on the first go. Listening to the clear audio didn't really make me "hear" the correct word on the 2nd try. It just made me realize that

We've been using uniCenta at our restaurant for 4 years (the open-source version). It's barely usable, all our employees hate it, the UX (and UI) gives the impression that all the people working on it have never actually used it

My gut feeling guess based on "small team, 4 months" would be around $200k for the initial development + a single full time employee for the future for maintenance and improvements. Add opportunity costs on top for focusing on som

Ask an Estonian the same question and they'll answer with "it's OK", "meh" or they'll just shrug. Which means the same - everything is going fine and they're happy :)
