This is pretty much my exact use of ripgrep, too. I use it as a starting point to zero in on files/projects in a several-hundred repo codebase, and then go from there....

That's a bummer. My team does standup at 3 PM (we're also bi-costal), but I let the teams chose their time, and this is what one particular team chose. Maybe talk to some of your teammates, and maybe you all decide you want an af

Maybe we'll have fewer it's Uber-but-for-washing-your-underwear companies then. And maybe only really good ideas will actually get to the level of obtaining VC funding for development. That's not a bad thing. VCs for the l

The microsoft lawsuit applied to the contractor staffing agencies, too. I'd google it for you, bute they had so many orange v-badges back in the day, that it has to be pretty easy to google.

I just put my smaller portafilter on my espresso machine and made a 9g pour. (I'm on a taper right now anyway, so this was a good move).

Yeup, agreed on the overdosing caffeine. When you start talking about those Venti starbucks (and large Dunks), those have upwards of 300mg of caffeine [1], which is probably equivalent to the five shots you have. We don't sleep enoug

Sounds like it. But I personally don't even bother with the feed thing anymore, and I definitely don't use an aggregator or Twitter or any of that. I go to a couple information sources that I expect the good stuff to bubble up to

Yeup. I wish we all went back to blogs and posting stuff to our own sites. There was a barrier to entry for doing this, naturally, but it kept the riff-raff off. There was also a few years of early Twitter days before the general public

Weird, I've had lots of success with Marketplace as both a buyer and seller. I only do local transactions, which is the same I would have done in the past with Craigslist, but I think Marketplace is miles-better than Craigslist.

I typically weigh my coffee, either for making espresso (20g) or for pourovers (25g). Last time I quit, went like this: a) move from two espressos -> one espresso for a few days. Once steady on a single 20g espresso... b) move from 20g

I think a lot of the escalations involve more than just one other person bidding, so you'd really need to be running a good game to get three or four people involved to run up a price in something like this. Additionally, in a competit
