This is one of the main goals of a tech manager: "some of the best managers have been the ones who shielded their employees from bullshit". If a manager of a tech group isn't doing that, they're failing at their job, an

This headline alone was worth the nostalgic memories since friends and I logged many hours on Ultima IV on an Apple IIc. Back then it was trivial to open up game files in a hex editor and give yourself unlimited weapons.

I have the same problem with the Atom packages behind the proxy. I had to do some npm and git configuration to add http_proxy. It worked for a bit, then the corporate password changed, and I never really updated the buried settings. I'

This book is great. I highly recommend to anyone architecting modern, cloud-based applications. At the very least it introduces a lot of concepts that many different open source projects implement. It'll give you the "why", w

I'd also comment on how consistent does the rice taste? When I made rice on the stove, it was really easy to cook too long and have it be mushier than I like.

I also like that on the Zoji there's an hot cereal setting, and unlike my prior rice cooker, where cooking steel-cut oats made a big mess with it boiling over, the Zoji gets it perfect, no fuss.
