My family has a history of malignant hyperthermia, so I was recently put under without inhaled anesthetics and they put an EEG on me. It was wild, zero delerium, nausea, or grogginess. I just snapped back into full consciousness.

Same but I am literally math dyslexic (formal diagnosis of dyscalculia). It prevented me from having a CS degree, I was unable to complete the math courses, but as far as actual programming and "software engineering" goes (design,

Most indie games sell on Steam/Steam Deck first and port to consoles later, usually after being picked up by an indie publisher. The $2000 is also to port to all three console platforms, it's $800 per. This makes it feasible to sa

Godot does support consoles, they just choose to move that to third parties. There's community Switch support if you're a registered Switch developer, and W4 Games licenses export plugins. One of the reasons for this is because co

I have a recent (2024) Gigabyte AMD motherboard and Windows 11 refuses to recognize the Ethernet NIC or onboard wifi. I can't load the drivers during setup either because they're .exe installers and it wants .inf files or somethin

It's Kinoite, not stock Fedora, which is ideal for a mass deployment like this. It also means the actual OS doesn't really matter as it's ultimately just a tool to run Flatpak and OCI containers.

For those interested in the atomic versions, the Universal Blue team has variants that do all of this for you: https://universal-blue.org/ It's not really a separate distro, more like a different configuration. The reg

I was really cynical about this for the longest time as I had used Linux on and off since 2001/2002 and was used to just debugging shit to get it to work. I found it fun but I could never recommend it to anyone. I built a PC last May t

I love this game, it's also amazing to me how the concept of "skiing" was foreign to me when I first played T1 and T2, and now its a core game mechanic.

I also own an ID4, I'm actually on my second lease (had a 2021, now a 2024). I originally had some skepticism from friends since I went non-Tesla, but I love the car. I also appreciate that it's not tied to Musk (and has Android A

Since there's no native Linux binary of the game, I assume the real issue here is Windows users telling the game "you're running under Proton, no kernel anticheat please!" and bypassing all of those additional checks.
