Seconded. Of all the features this one caught me off-guard a bit. I was expecting a small-ish SSD akin to what a Chromebook sports. A 120GB SSD would be really nice in this machine.

I don't see any reason why not. Coincidentally this is exactly what interests me as well, though I do have an 11" MBA too so I might use it for both at different times.

Haha! Wait... That was funny until the part about vi. Vim is the best editor ever and you should use it! Your editor is bad and you should feel bad!

I'm not sure. I'll agree that it can be irritating, but I think sometimes people actually do need to evangelize their latest $WHATEVER in order to help motivate themselves and stay focused. Whether or not this is a sign of un&#x

Glad you posted this, even though you were probably afraid of sounding sexist! :) It's very true, though. Historically men are not allowed to have feelings or ask for help or show weakness. I think this is changing, but I have zero

That's an interesting observation, I didn't even notice. But I can tell you that men definitely think/feel this way too, I'm one of them! It's like a strange kind of bi-polar disorder where (like Tina Fey expresse

That is what it was about, but didn't you notice it was written from the perspective that legalizing is bad because it's hurting this group of people? There's a significant dose of irony here.

I feel like you missed the tongue-in-cheek aspect of this article. It's essentially a list of positive changes stemming from legalizing marijuana under the guise of "unintended consequences" (the poor hippies!) that will also

The concern you are responding to here was my initial reaction, but I think you've changed my mind. I like this a lot. Not only do you gain experience using commands by setting up your aliases, but you now have a reference for the fut

Agreed! This is so amazing. Something about it makes me smile like I can't help it. Space always makes me feel small, but in a good way. Sad bit: "Almost 20,000 people participated..." At first glance that might seem lik

Love this article. It makes me think of my friends who are all techies, but somehow we're all hippies, only in our late twenties/early thirties. The culture Andrew envisions is still alive and kicking. It's never on the fro

Disgusting, but it's only natural. The little guys don't have the resources to fight it out in court and keep their heads above water, so trolls can extort a small settlement or licensing fee from them. Ironically analogous to t

I think this is actually a pretty good use of a carousel. It's nice looking, and like you said >It's just an aesthetic presentation of non-essential content (random portfolio items). The only thing I would add is a way for the

You are correct. But, you are also boring . You are also not the target audience of Vi Hart's videos. The point is to make this stuff accessible to people who would otherwise never be exposed to it and hopefully inspire them to furth
