That's a fair trade if you don't like Go, but I love working with it, so for me it has to be something more compelling than trading safe types for actor-based functional style. Go's imperativeness never bothered me.

I am curious about Elixir, but I really can't bring myself to spend time mastering a language with dynamic types. You are removing one class of errors from your application, but at the same time inviting a new one that has been solved

Contextual logging makes structured logging even more powerful. For example, you can attach an ID to the contex of an http request when you receive it, which then gets logged in every operation that is performed for serving that request. If

The majority of times I see critical articles and news being labeled as "FUD" is in crypto scams and memestock communities, which is very telling about the state of Elon's stock. Though I must say, it's fitting.

I think we will see ads and a more limited service before we see them completely remove the free version. At least I hope so, because I can't say I get much value from it. I use ChatGPT once or twice a week, and I'm definitely not

Small companies are addressed indirectly in my second paragraph. Even if you have a small company or a small team, they still need full-stack experience. Documentation for frameworks like React is already very mature, so I don't think

I also prefer the client-side approach because the separation between server and client makes more sense to me: the backend serves data, the client renders it. It is also much easier to manage state. Unless the website is extremely simple,

The problem is when IOService has edge cases. When building the mock, does it address the edge cases? When you want to find bugs by testing, the tests need to test the real world. So to work, the mock for IOService needs to model the e

Very unfortunate name for a company that wanted to expand in Brazil. In Portuguese, Koo is homophonous with the word for a**hole, so it's not a surprise it didn't stick. Not to say it wasn't humorous though. People had a lot
