I badly cracked the head tube on my run-of-the-mill steel frame (Reynolds 501 CrMo) and a guy recommended by a bike shop welded it up for me for £25. Six years later it's still going strong.

I took a couple of sales training courses. One was an intro course for non-sales staff, and the other was for B2B selling with a longer sales cycle. Both very much helped with the social interaction side of selling, and the second one was v

IMHO fixings tend to be selected prioritizing a manufacturing point of view rather than how easy they are to disassemble (with the exception of specific security screws). PH/PZ screws can get cammed by a misaligned tool or unskilled op

Sure. We're saying the same thing in different ways. A 2011 reasonable spec i5 laptop from my trash pile is still at least as useable for day-today tasks as a cheap new machine in 2021.

I had a visitor over the holidays who needed to work but didn't have a laptop. I had 2x old T420 (released in 2011) so I combined the RAM and did a fresh OS install. My only hassle was finding a DP cable. Other than doubling the RAM, t

Yes, like the Arm RISC-V announcement, it looks just amateurish and/or desperate marketing. In the Arm case I think some marketeer had gone rogue and the engineering org had the clout to shut it down.
