That is pretty cool, C++ has come a long way since I used it last about 15 years ago. It seems like both languages are equally capable here, with C++ having more power and foot guns when required as usual.

It still blows me away that people put their email address in forms, and that email marketing affects sales. I guess while they keep working, people will keep creating popups.

I had a 28/27" 4k monitor, but like the author I found it far too small (the pixel size) to use comfortably. Unfortunately I was working with legacy applications that didn't support scaling and couldn't adjust the DPI.

100% correct. There is a fallacy in Australia that you shouldn't "waste your vote" on the smaller parties, despite preferential voting. It's important to keep the vote competitive, the alternative is people stay at home
