Walgreens did this to me, too. My package legally contained alcohol, with the right label, and they refused to accept it.

Yes, I would rather see Google accept/tolerate all political viewpoints. Google is mostly liberal but that doesn’t represent everyone. They have a significant influence. We should all be free to form our own opinions, whatever they may

> This level of surveillance is “not too over-the-top”, Ingrid said, and she feels her classmates are generally “accepting” of it. Of course they think that, they’re still kids. Who’s going to protect them from surveillance? IMO this is

Yes, natural gas is being banned. California has gone crazy. Inductive cooktops are pretty good - I’ve grown to prefer it over gas.

Yes. My income is comparable and I work at a private company. Full cash comp. Salaries are generally high but I took a few risks and my earnings have compounded based on that. I’m currently a IC but on track for leadership. A lot of it is p

A first person account of what Jenni’s mental state was on the early days of the internet. Presumably this sets a frame for her motivations to live stream her life later.

One of my family members was dying and extremely anxious in hospice. The person reflected on their life and wanted to make amends with some people. I believe something like a psychedelic would’ve provided clarity. It could’ve been traumatiz

Imgur really jumped the shark by doubling down on social features. Image hosting has seen a lot of players come and go. It’s a simple service complicated by business. The Craigslist model comes to mind. Looks the same, works the same, and c

I have access to my neighbors ring doorbell so I can keep an eye on my home. It tells me about all the local crime and tries to make me afraid. People report door to door salesmen as suspicious. Get real. The real crime here is fear mongeri

Slack was being jerks telling everyone change is hard and to suck it up. Now, they backpeddled. This is what hostility looks like. They think they know better than their users. They don’t.
